Digital Product Cart integrates seamlessly with PayPal to enable you to sell digital products online. This step by step guide explains how to set up a PayPal account to allow you to accept payments from PayPal and by credit or debit card.
We strongly recommend signing up for a PayPal business account. PayPal business accounts will allow customers to pay using their PayPal balance or by credit/debit card, whereas a personal account will only allow the former.
Click here to sign up for a business account and enter your email address and choose a password.
Next, enter your business details including your name, business name (you can enter your own name if you are a sole trade or self-employed), and contact details.
Read and accept the User Agreement and Privacy Statement and click submit to create your business account.
PayPal will charge a transaction fee when you receive payment from a customer. Currently this is 2.90% + 30p if you're accepting GBP. For other currencies check the latest fees here.
For all Digital Product Cart upgraded accounts (all except the Free account), we don't charge you any additional transaction fees, just a small, fair monthly fee from as little as £2.50. See all our pricing here.
